Senior Software Engineer – Python and Generative AI

A passionate Senior Python & Generative AI Engineer who thrives at the intersection of software engineering and AI innovation. You have strong expertise in Python (FastAPI/Django) and experience designing production-grade systems that integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, and autonomous agent workflows. You are naturally curious, continuously exploring new AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Semantic Kernel, and can translate complex technical requirements into scalable, reliable, and explainable systems.

What you will do?

• Design and implement LLM-powered systems leveraging OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and other open-source models to solve complex enterprise problems.
• Build multi-step reasoning pipelines including planner, executor, and validator components to enable reliable AI decision-making.
• Integrate deterministic reasoning engines alongside AI outputs to enforce business rules, ensure compliance, and handle edge cases.
• Architect and optimize RAG pipelines with intelligent document ingestion, metadata tagging, embeddings, vector search, and hierarchical retrieval strategies.
• Develop autonomous and negotiation agents capable of goal-driven planning, tool utilization, memory management, self-evaluation, and strategy execution.
• Build high-performance APIs and asynchronous workflows to connect AI models, databases, vector stores, and external systems efficiently.
• Ensure production readiness by implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system health, latency, retrieval accuracy, and agent behavior.
• Maintain traceability and explainability of AI outputs, providing transparent decision paths that are auditable and suitable for enterprise environments.
• Document designs and best practices, and actively contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team to elevate overall technical capability.

What we are looking for?

• 4–6 years of professional experience in Python backend development and AI systems engineering.
• Qualification – BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MSc-IT/MCA or equivalent technical degree.
• Strong proficiency with FastAPI/Django and RESTful API development for scalable, maintainable services.
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, and understanding of RAG architectures.
• Experience in designing deterministic reasoning engines alongside probabilistic AI outputs.
• Proficiency with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, Weaviate) for retrieval-augmented generation pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines for production-grade deployments.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaborative communication skills.
• Passion for AI, multi-step reasoning, autonomous agents, and building reliable, explainable systems.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with negotiation systems, strategy engines, or decision theory.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI security, regulatory compliance, and governance.
• Exposure to multi-tenant architectures and large-scale distributed systems.
• Cloud experience with AWS or equivalent platforms, including services like S3, Lambda, EC2, and API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Make) or orchestration frameworks.
