About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior AI Engineer to join our growing AI practice and help build the next generation of enterprise AI solutions.
This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about designing scalable AI systems, developing intelligent business applications, and leveraging modern AI-powered development tools to accelerate software delivery.
You will work on complex enterprise engagements involving Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), enterprise integrations, intelligent automation, knowledge platforms, and AI-driven business solutions.
Beyond building AI products, you will play a key role in establishing AI-native engineering practices by utilizing advanced AI development environments, coding assistants, agent frameworks, and automation techniques to improve productivity, quality, and delivery velocity.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise AI Solution Development
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI applications and intelligent business solutions.
- Architect scalable AI platforms capable of supporting multiple business domains and use cases.
- Build AI-powered assistants, copilots, workflow automation solutions, decision-support systems, and knowledge platforms.
- Develop reusable AI services, components, and frameworks that can be leveraged across multiple projects and clients.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
Agentic AI & Intelligent Workflows
- Design and implement agent-based architectures and multi-agent systems.
- Build orchestration workflows involving planning, reasoning, execution, validation, and tool utilization.
- Develop intelligent workflows that interact with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and external systems.
- Implement memory, context management, state handling, and execution monitoring for AI systems.
- Optimize AI workflows for reliability, scalability, performance, and business outcomes.
Knowledge Systems & Retrieval
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Build document ingestion, indexing, search, and retrieval pipelines.
- Develop enterprise knowledge management and document intelligence solutions.
- Implement semantic search, hybrid search, reranking, metadata filtering, and contextual retrieval strategies.
- Optimize knowledge retrieval quality and response accuracy across large enterprise datasets.
AI Governance & Reliability
- Develop AI systems with strong emphasis on accuracy, transparency, explainability, and governance.
- Implement validation mechanisms, confidence scoring, approval workflows, and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Establish monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement frameworks for AI systems.
- Contribute to AI best practices, standards, and governance frameworks across the organization.
AI-Native Software Engineering
- Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate software delivery and engineering productivity.
- Build and maintain custom AI-assisted development workflows.
- Design and orchestrate specialized coding agents for software design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review activities.
- Create reusable prompts, workflows, skills, tools, and engineering accelerators.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI engineering tools and technologies to improve team efficiency and delivery quality.
- Champion AI-first engineering practices across projects and teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Engineering
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Python and modern backend development.
- Experience with FastAPI, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
AI & Generative AI
- Hands-on experience building production-grade AI applications.
- Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Experience implementing tool calling, structured outputs, prompt engineering, and context management.
- Experience deploying AI solutions in enterprise or customer-facing environments.
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, benchmarking, and optimization techniques.
AI Frameworks & Platforms
Experience with one or more of the following:

AI-Native Development Experience (Highly Preferred)

- Experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Cohere, or similar AI platforms.
- Experience building enterprise copilots, knowledge assistants, workflow automation systems, or intelligent business applications.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and AI lifecycle management.
- Experience implementing Human-in-the-Loop workflows.
- Exposure to AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience working within enterprise, SaaS, or regulated industry environments.
