QA Engineer – Mobile Application Testing

How you should be?

A detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Engineer with hands-on experience in testing mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. You bring a strong balance of manual testing expertise and experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium or Playwright. You are proactive, analytical, and comfortable working in Agile environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-quality mobile releases. You take ownership of quality and continuously look for ways to improve testing effectiveness.

What you will do?

• Perform manual testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Execute functional, UI/UX, usability, and compatibility testing across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen resolutions.
• Conduct non-functional testing including performance, battery usage, installation, and network condition testing.
• Review requirements, user flows, and design documents to create comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Execute smoke, regression, and exploratory testing for mobile application releases.
• Perform integration and API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps, ensuring closure.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and development teams to ensure requirement clarity and quality outcomes.
• Develop, execute, and maintain mobile automation test suites using Appium or Playwright as part of the regression strategy.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience in mobile application testing (iOS & Android).
• Mandatory hands-on experience with mobile automation testing tools such as Appium or Playwright.
• Strong experience in manual testing, test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
• Good understanding of mobile-specific testing areas such as installation, permissions, push notifications, and network conditions.
• Experience with API and integration testing using Postman or Swagger.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Firebase Performance Monitoring.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and a quality-driven mindset.
