Spirituality is not bound by the shackles of religion, caste, or creed, and neither does health and wellbeing of your mind, body, and soul. Radixians enjoy a near-perfect work-life balance, yet our desire to up the benchmark and push ourselves even further can sometimes become stressful.
A surprise planned by HR team, on International Yoga Day, we Radixians were treated to a mesmerizing, cleansing, and high-energy session delivered right at our desks via our workstation screens.
The Yoga session was fun, innovative, and relaxing at the same time. And the smiles on our faces made all the exertion worthwhile. The session was customized to address the needs of a desk jockey whose day includes prolonged hours of working in front of a glaring computer screen. Sitting in the same posture throughout the day, leads to strains in the neck, back, and shoulder muscles, giving rise to stiffness and muscular fatigue. As teams across Ekyarth joined the yoga session, an immediate surge of good vibrations at our workplace was immediately apparent.
Employee morale is the overall outlook, emotion, and satisfaction of employees towards their jobs and workplace. The way they perceive their workplace often decides their productivity. An employee with high morale is happy and enjoys his work. On the contrary, employees with low morale are dissatisfied and keep a negative outlook towards his/her work. Employees with high morale stay motivated and work towards the organization’s goals. They maintain a healthy relationship with anyone they come in contact with.
Radixweb's work culture takes pride on being an inclusive, body-positive organization where employee health and wellbeing holds as high a place as employee efficiency. Yoga is an activity which when practiced in a group, convalesces the positive vibrations of the group into a shared consciousness of camaraderie and the desire to achieve goals together.
Radixians enjoyed alot flexing their muscle from our brand new office. Our Yoga session for the day was enjoyable, effective, and instantly invigorating. Watching Radixians take their stances and then de-stress was equally fun. A die-hard fitness enthusiast and experienced Yoga practician, Ms. Sarrah Pitaliya, Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Radixweb, led the teams on her floor as her high energy spread to the rest. Vice President Sales, Mr. Pratik Mistry, was also seen in action as the session progressed.
“Yoga is a light, which once lit will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter your flame.” — B.K.S. Iyengar
Radixweb is well aware that a healthy workforce directly translates to increased productivity. Yoga has health benefits like increased energy, a crucial component to battling a sedentary lifestyle. Enhanced Immunity is yet another valued outcome of Yoga and is now needed more than ever, given the circumstances of the past year. Leading from the front as usual and dedicated towards holistic health, our C-Suite also took part in the session.
Companies across the globe have begun working on employee wellness initiatives, but Radixweb, way ahead of the curve, as usual, has it covered. With the top Brass discussing the possibility of including a daily micro-session of Yoga into the workday at Radixweb, all signs point towards a fitter, healthier and happier breed of Radixians in the days to come.
Intending to create an environment that employees enjoy and love, our yoga session is just a small part of Radixweb’s commitment to its employee’s physical and spiritual wellbeing. It is no wonder that every Radixian, across hierarchies, gets ready every morning with a spring in her/his step and a drive to deliver consistent value because they are a part of a bigger whole, the family that we call Radixweb. Desiring nothing but the very best for our people, we assure you that Radixweb will keep pushing the boundaries of awesomeness.
So this ends with a shout-out to everyone, from us Radixians; Tune into your soul. Life at Radixweb consists everything that defines a perfect work-life balance. Take it and make the most of it.
