The enterprise operates a CRM platform purpose-built for UK temporary staffing agencies, automating registration, compliance, bookings, timesheets, pay and bill, and holiday accrual. The platform replaces manual recruitment administration with a single connected system.

Four priorities formed this project delivering HR management solutions to streamline workforce and payroll operations. The first was simplifying candidate and employee onboarding so temp agencies could register and verify workers without manual work. The second goal was to improve timesheet management so hours worked could be captured, approved, and processed accurately for many client sites, and the third was refining the payroll process so pay and bill calculations, along with holiday accrual, stayed compliant and consistent as the platform’s footprint expanded over several years of growth. The fourth was to provide a reporting platform to show the General Ledger Data.

Our dedicated developers specializing in modernizing outdated infrastructure into scalable systems worked with the client with a fixed-scope DevOps component, delivered through agile methodology and sprint planning for more than four years of continuous work.
The team worked on recruitment CRM development, and built and maintained the core modules including Payroll, a Candidate Portal, and Timesheet Management for UK temp agencies to work with a connected way to onboard workers, track hours, and process pay. Quality assurance covered both manual and automation testing, and security was verified through Zerothreat scans and regular peer code review.
On the infrastructure side, the team managed AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines. Most recently, we proposed an AWS infrastructure cost-reduction approach, which, after the client ‘s approval and fund, lowered ongoing hosting costs without affecting platform performance for the enterprise.
Having the same dedicated team for more than four years means they understand our platform as well as we do. They don't just fix what's asked. They flag cost and performance improvements before we even think to ask.
Four years on the same product teaches you where the pressure points sit before a client even raises them. That familiarity is what let us bring the AWS cost-reduction proposal forward ourselves, which is the kind of partnership we aim for on every engagement.

Radixweb's recruitment platform development team built a dedicated candidate portal that offers a trackable workflow that reduces delays and keeps records consistent in branches. We also implemented new features to automate the verification of candidate's Right to work (RTW) compliance by integrating TrustID, which is a third-party Identity Service Provider to check the compliance.
A connected timesheet management module replaced disconnected spreadsheets and paper forms. Agencies can now capture, approve, and process hours worked for multiple client sites from a single system, accurately. Additionally, our team built a new feature for Clock-In & Clock-Out by candidates, based on which timesheet hours are recorded.
The payroll module of the recruitment software automates pay and bill calculations, including varying pay rates, client bill rates, and holiday accrual, keeping the numbers accurate as regulations shift and the agency's client base grows.
The DevOps side of recruitment software modernization covers ongoing AWS infrastructure management alongside CI/CD pipeline integration. It gave the platform a repeatable, tested path from code commit to live release without manual deployment steps.
Quality assurance combines manual testing with automated test coverage. Our developers were able to catch regressions before release and giving the team confidence to ship changes frequently without compromising the reliability agencies depend on daily.
After several years of managing the platform's infrastructure, the team identified an opportunity to reduce AWS hosting costs and proposed the change directly. The client approved the approach to AWS DevOps services for HRTech and the associated hours needed to deliver it.

If your platform has been running for years, Radixweb can put a dedicated dev, QA, and DevOps team on your product for the long term.
The application follows the ASP.NET MVC architectural pattern. It separated data, business logic, and presentation layers. This structure has kept the codebase organized and maintainable through more than four years of ongoing feature development and change.
C# powers the core application logic, chosen for its strong typing, mature tooling, and natural fit with the ASP.NET MVC framework. It gives the team a stable, well-supported foundation for building payroll and compliance features.
AWS hosts the platform's infrastructure. It gave the team the flexibility to scale compute and storage resources as the user base grows. Recent work has also focused on optimizing AWS usage to reduce ongoing hosting costs.
M# is a custom, proprietary layer built specifically for legacy modernization for recruitment software. It was developed to handle the recruitment industry's specific compliance and payroll logic.
jQuery handles client-side interactivity in the application's forms and dashboards, chosen for its reliability within the existing MVC front end and its low overhead compared to adopting a newer framework mid-project.
A SQL database stores the platform's relational data like candidate records, timesheets, and payroll history. It offers better consistency and transactional integrity, particularly for financial and compliance-sensitive records.
DynamoDB supports specific high-throughput or flexible-schema needs alongside the primary SQL database, giving the platform a place to handle data that doesn't fit neatly into relational tables without slowing down core transactions.
ASP.NET Core is used to build the platform's backend APIs and business logic, providing a scalable and secure application layer that handles authentication, data processing, integrations, and communication between the frontend and underlying services and databases.
We used Angular to build the platform's frontend user interface. It provides a structured and responsive web application that enables users to interact with features such as candidates, clients, bookings, timesheets, payroll, and reporting through reusable components and services.
More than four years on recruitment workflow software development means the team carries institutional knowledge that a new vendor would take months to rebuild. That continuity shows up in faster fixes, fewer misunderstandings, and decisions made with full context.
The recently approved AWS cost-reduction initiative is expected to lower the enterprise's ongoing hosting spend while keeping platform performance and reliability unchanged, a direct result of the team proactively reviewing infrastructure rather than waiting to be asked.
Pairing manual and automated testing with a mature CI/CD pipeline means releases go out with fewer surprises. Agencies rely on the HRTech platform daily for payroll and compliance get updates without disruption to their core operations.
Load testing and infrastructure automation give the platform room to absorb more agencies and higher transaction volumes without a redesign. That scalability positions the enterprise to keep expanding across the UK staffing market with confidence.
Radixweb builds long-term relationships around dedicated teams. If your platform needs steady hands for years, not just a single project, we would welcome the conversation.
