The impact of the pandemic threw all of us at the deep end. Global businesses certainly experienced a rough impact. But what became very apparent and quick was the workplace transformation, which in most cases seemed very disproportionate for all in remote working environments.
Out of all, women are the primary caregivers, they managed home-schooling for kids transitioning into online school environments, along with household chores and due professional requirements. That was definitely a disproportionate part of pressure on the working women clan.
Radixweb was quick to respond in recognizing and realizing the impact. We had dialogues and discussions in terms of how to respond to this change. What time flexibility is required for female colleagues? Apart from this, we prioritized their mental wellbeing. Flexibilities of work schedules across time zones are what Radixweb recognized to combat the workplace challenges.
It’s critical for all men and women to manage the stress at the workplace, maintain a rapport with reporting managers, or tackle the financial crunch. Providing relief to such types of criticalities is developing an environment of inclusion. Where the voices of women matter and Radixweb strongly believes in ‘power from diversity’.
