They highlighted my USPs to boost my market presence
Hi, this is Kim Ruiz, the founder and owner of a writing and content services organization based in Brandon, Florida. Our journey with Radixweb started in June 2016. Their dev experts have designed and redeveloped our website, focusing on UX, professionalism, and considering other unique selling-point features. During the project, they directly collaborated with me on the project requirements and improved security for the website.
They were very easy to work with and in tune with what I had in mind.
Radixweb is a polite and professional team which readily overcomes common offshore barriers through meticulous attention to detail and an uncompromising work ethics.
Our reputed client is a Brandon-based writing and content service provider firm and was in dire need of a functional website. Their former website had outdated features, lacked professional designs, had hacking issues and required manual maintenance.
Radixweb realized the client's creative vision and re-developed the new website from the scratch by integrating new capabilities, features and style – a prerequisite for any professional website to gain client attention.
They’re professional, creative, and responsive. It was delightful to work with them. It was fun to watch the process because that side of it was new and different for me. I’m the writing person, not the tech/development person, so I enjoyed it.
We are a professional content service provider firm. We run in partnership with another business that creates websites and helps us with other publishing materials. I’m the owner.
My old website desperately needed to be updated. It had several issues – the features weren’t up to the mark and outdated, the content flow on the website was not functional, the design aspects looked amateurish, and not only did the website require manual maintenance, it had hacking issues too.
I hired a local company initially, they didn’t give the desired results. I couldn’t find somebody initially who had the same vision, and the features didn’t flow as well. I envisioned a whole new direction for my website which Radixweb effortlessly made. It is 10 times better than my previous website!
I heard about Radixweb from one of their previous clients. They steered me in a direction that ultimately profited my business and were able to help me design and build exactly what I had in mind.
Since my old website had no scope of being salvaged, I wanted an entirely different direction for my new website. They added new functionalities like the portfolio feature which is essential for showcasing my line of work. Previously, I only had a link that would take you to it. They were able to capture an image of certain things that I had done like websites and newsletters. We kept some of the basic ideas, but the functionality and the flow, the way it would jump and move, it improved the look of the website from a nice, intermediate website to a truly professional looking, finished product.
The time zone differences have never become an issue with Radixweb. When in need, they work more than six days in a week and even late to deliver the required solutions for the global clients.
They are very easy to work with and were always in tune with what I had in mind. At the very beginning of the project, there was a Skype call about the overall requirements and the contract. Otherwise, we communicated by email. They were always super responsive and even extended their daily schedules so that the communication didn’t suffer.
Like any complex project, there was a lot of back and forth. I provided them with some initial ideas which they built on, and then they sent me some template ideas, which I would respond, “I really like this, or I want to change that.” They never said no to accommodating my iterative change requests.
Their work and tech capabilities are both fabulous. The old website was more static: very basic backgrounds, black bars on the side, limited pages. For the new website, I love the feature of setting the page names at the top. Then if you click on it, rather than it taking you away to another page, it scrolls you down the page, which was not a feature that I had before. I thought that was interesting. There’s movement on the page where things scroll.
Again, a newer feature on newer websites, and not something I had before. When you get to the actual section, once you’ve scrolled down, if you want to see more, there’s an option to go and then click to that specific page. Those were all changes and things that I liked compared to the website that I previously had.
A lot of the work I do is word of mouth. I don’t really rely on my website for getting business. But then the scope of business is changing every day and these I do get clients ask me for a portfolio, and I say, “Please go look at my website. It has links to all my work. You can see a lot of what I’ve done and use that as a reference.” Thanks to them, my virtual space looks decluttered and professional.
While it was a little bit more than the website I was looking to have done, it was less than what my original website designer would charge me. For the cost and what I got, I’m 100% satisfied. I would definitely recommend them. In fact, if I have a client who needs a website, I’m looking to partner with them to help that client.
Kim feels the linguistic barrier could be one grey area while partnering with Radixweb, although she says, “It doesn’t make it difficult; it just requires a little more explanation. But I found them to be beyond polite and enjoyable to speak with via email, which you don’t always get with American clients.”
