Tell us in brief about your company and your role in it.
We are a firm that specializes in providing data analytic software and services to its clients. Formerly, we operated on a client-based platform but with changing business needs, we recognized the requirement for a trusted cloud-led space that would transform our business.
What was your tech challenge?
As mentioned earlier, we recognized that our system was outdated for the way modern businesses operated. We wanted to revolutionize the face of industry-leading analytics solutions and move it to a secure cloud-based environment.
We wanted to have a solution, which our clients would recognize for the same deep analytics, yet looked like it was made for the cloud and was not simply a quick port of a client solution.
How did Radixweb fit into your requirements?
Our search was for a partner who would have enough capacity for roping in specialized resources and at the same time be enough responsive and attentive to our changing project requirements.
The resources allocated to the project were not always optimal. But our changing requirements and priorities was a major determiner here. Radix continuously adjusted as per our business needs.
How did this engagement impact your business?
Our partnership with Radixweb began in July 2014 and still continues. We have engaged with them for additional phases of work several times in between. They have delivered on their commitments, and we have felt increasingly comfortable continuing to send them additional work. I cannot quote any metrics, but Radix transformed our client-based platform to a cloud-based solution, which is now working excellently. We continue to enhance the solution with Radixweb.
This partnership has been excellent – and Radixweb has shown expertise in all of the key technologies we needed: C#/.Net, SQL Server, Azure, Telerik controls, and ABCPDF. Our own fluid requirements have made it challenging at times, but Radixweb has excelled.
What would you say is the most impressive thing about Radixweb?
This is a very flexible, customer-focused team. At some point of the development phase, if we felt things were not going perfectly, Radix honored our assessment and was proactive in offering solutions, which we felt went beyond what was required. Let me give you an example, early on, we felt that the four-person team was not delivering updates at a quick enough pace, Radixweb agreed. They removed one team member and replaced him with two others for six months – so 25% additional resources on the team at no additional charge. With some smaller items, Radix self-identified and offered solutions, which we felt were very fair.
