Full-StackSaaS Engineeringfor a B2B Dropshipping Platform

TopDawg experienced 50% drop in support tickets and 99.9%+ uptime with new-age web app for retail logistics operations with AWS cloud hosting and full-stack development.

When Dareen DeFeo, CEO of TopDawg, appointed Radixweb, they needed to address the operational constraints of its dropshipping platform. The engagement covered end‑to‑end web app engineering, development of user-facing tools, integration with marketplaces, automation of core processes, and AWS cloud hosting.

Feedback Highlights

“They’ve consistently met our deadlines for major feature releases and integrations, even when timelines were tight.”

"Radixweb has consistently been receptive to feedback and quick to adapt when needed. Given the results and the quality of the partnership, I wouldn’t have done anything differently.”

We’ve worked with other development firms in the past, but Radixweb’s ability to integrate seamlessly with our internal team, adapt to shifting business priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality code across a complex tech stack is unmatched.

The Challenge and The Solution

Based in Florida, TopDawg is one of the leading U.S.-based B2B dropshipping platforms. Their existing platform was functional but a bit outdated by performance issues, limited automation, and fragmented integrations across multiple sales channels.

Radixweb addressed these issues through full‑stack redevelopment, AWS‑based infrastructure provisioning, and the implementation of retailer dashboards, product catalog management, real-time inventory sync, order automation, and third-party integrations. The end result was a stable web application built for high-load performance under expanding transaction volumes.

They think strategically, ask the right questions, and proactively offer solutions that improve performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

An Overview of the Conversation

Please describe your company and your position.

TopDawg is a B2B SaaS platform that connects retailers with U.S.-based wholesale suppliers through a fully integrated dropshipping solution. We serve over 20,000 active retailers and host products from more than 3,000 suppliers. I am the CEO.

What was the primary purpose of bringing Radixweb into the project?

We hired Radixweb to build, manage, and continually develop our end-to-end dropshipping platform. The scope included front‑end user interface design, development of a back‑end architecture, integration with multiple third‑party services, and deployment of cloud hosting services on AWS.

How did you find Radixweb, and why did you select them over other firms?

We found Radixweb through an online search when we were reviewing potential vendors with experience in projects similar to ours. The decision to stick with them was based on three factors - their alignment with our organizational values, their work culture that appeared compatible with ours, and the cost structure that seemed reasonable without risks.

Please describe the scope of work in detail, including key deliverables.

We’ve had about six to ten people working with us. Radixweb has served as our core development partner responsible for building and maintaining the TopDawg platform, which includes a custom-built web-based application for B2B dropshipping. They developed our full tech stack, from scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to user-facing tools like our retailer dashboards, product catalog management, real-time inventory sync, order automation, shipping integrations, and API documentation.

They’ve also played a major role in integrations with platforms like Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, and eBay. The team continues to deliver new features, resolve technical challenges, and provide DevOps support.

Could you share some measurable outcomes that indicate the project’s success?

Radixweb has been instrumental in helping us scale TopDawg into one of the leading U.S.-based B2B dropshipping platforms. We now serve over 20,000 active retailers and host products from more than 3,000 suppliers. Their development work enabled us to launch seamless integrations with Shopify, Walmart, and eBay, resulting in a significant increase in retailer adoption and product syncing.

Thanks to their optimization of our infrastructure and automation capabilities, we’ve also seen a 50%+ reduction in support tickets related to order processing and platform errors. Our system uptime has remained above 99.9%, and platform response times have dramatically improved, providing a better overall user experience.

These measurable improvements have helped us enhance retailer satisfaction, increase retention, and support consistent monthly revenue growth.

Their dedication, flexibility, and long-term commitment make them feel like an extension of our company rather than an outsourced vendor.

How would you describe their project management? Did they deliver items on time and respond to your needs?

Radixweb’s project management has been consistently reliable, transparent, and professional. They work with an agile methodology and provide weekly updates, milestone tracking, and clear timelines through tools like Jira and Slack. Their team is highly responsive to our needs — whether it's a planned feature rollout or an urgent bug fix, they act quickly and communicate effectively throughout the process.

They’ve consistently met our deadlines for major feature releases and integrations, even when timelines were tight. Their ability to understand complex requirements, pivot when priorities shift, and deliver quality work on time has made them a critical and trusted extension of our internal team.

What was your primary method of communication with Radixweb?

Most of our communication is through online meetings. Things have been moving well with follow‑up emails and quick messages on chat apps. It’s fairly easy to stay connected and get work done without delays.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stands out most about Radixweb is their deep technical expertise combined with a true partnership mindset. They think strategically, ask the right questions, and proactively offer solutions that improve performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

We’ve worked with other development firms in the past, but Radixweb’s ability to integrate seamlessly with our internal team, adapt to shifting business priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality code across a complex tech stack is unmatched. Their dedication, flexibility, and long-term commitment make them feel like an extension of our company rather than an outsourced vendor.

Were there any areas where you believe Radixweb could have performed better?

As with any long‑term working relationship, there are always areas that can be fine-tuned over time but nothing significant or worth calling out. Radixweb has consistently been receptive to feedback and quick to adapt when needed. Given the results and the quality of the partnership, I wouldn’t have done anything differently.

Final Remarks

What Radixweb did takes grit, patience, and a team that doesn’t lose focus. There were plenty of moments where things could have gone sideways, but the team did not lose the momentum. They’ve handled new feature development, urgent fixes, and complex integrations without letting stability slip. I’ve learned I can count on them, because every time, the results have been solid. That’s why they’re still at the heart of our platform’s growth.

A Measured Collaboration

TopDawg entrusted us with the complete engineering and maintenance of their B2B dropshipping platform. In return, we have delivered technical depth, feature innovation, and integration strength. That steady, dependable way of working has kept the platform strong and the relationship productive, and it sets a solid foundation for everything still to come.
