For Radix this was debut participation at CeBIT Australia. But we were ready to handle all the action. OnPrintShop web to print storefront concludes CeBIT 2012 on a high note for third year in a row.
We had a few of our existing clients from Europe visit our stall and share their positive experiences. This proved to be critical for our success with new inquiries. We had extensive and fruitful discussions with printers and consultants from Europe and US looking for customizable web to print solution. We discussed customization possibilities and third party integrations with our existing solution to evolve path breaking ideas. Our solution capabilities also impressed a few product marketing companies who have gone on to display their interest in partnering with us and promoting our solution in their markets.
We guided our visitors through a live solution demo to give them a real feel of the solution. “Seeing our solution live in action helped our visitors relate the solution and its functionalities to the ground realities of their business”, states Naresh Bordia, VP Business Development, OnPrintShop-Radixweb.
The OnPrintShop team fielded questions on what kind of upgrades we had released over the past year and what was in the pipeline. We showed our upgraded Online Designer Studio in action to the visitors and shared details of additional modules like Advanced Corporate Module, Vendor Management Module, Calendar Module, Photobook Module, and more. We also revealed the third party integrations that are possible with our solution.
We also had the crowd inquiring about how to get started with OnPrintShop. “We explained the subscription model and licensed model of OnPrintShop web to print storefront to inquiring visitors. We made it clear that even if they start with subscription model initially, they could easily migrate to the licensed model later on as their business growth demands”, informs Mr Bordia.
CeBIT 2012 also proved to be a good place to establish first base contacts with who’s who of the global print industry. “We intend to build on these contacts in drupa 2012 where we shall target strategic alliances with some of these names”, reveals Mr Bordia.
After CeBIT 2012, OnPrintShop will be showcasing at drupa 2012 and Graph Expo 2012 – both events specifically meant for the print and graphics industry.
CeBIT never ceases to amaze and CeBIT 2012 just proved that again!
The recently concluded CeBIT 2012 at Hannover, Germany was indeed a not-to-be-missed event for a digital industry player. And Radix was right there in the middle where all the action took place.
The Radix Stall D-44-12 in Hall 6 became a crowd puller during the entirety of CeBIT. Visitors walked in for different reasons. We had carried out a targeted and planned marketing campaign prior to CeBIT. As a result, we had plenty of pre-booked appointments. In addition to this, we had many visitors stopping by to inquire about our services, especially OnPrintShop web to print storefront for which we had announced upgrades.
This year, we had focused on three core areas of our services - Dotnet development & consulting services, mobile application development, and embedded technology development. We had appointments pre-booked with us for all these three areas. Our top management and technical heads held detailed discussions across the table with them understanding their requirements. For visitors who just walked in, our team displayed the same enthusiasm.
Our recently released mobile applications had also caught the eye of the CeBIT visitors. We had people trying out the apps for themselves and wanting to know if we could develop something similar for them. We struck a chord with the CeBIT crowd when we revealed that we could develop mobile apps for iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows Mobile, and PhoneGap.
But the real jackpot turned out to be embedded technology development. Over the past year, we have achieved some unimaginable feats wherein we have integrated tools from other technologies into embedded devices. And this really thrilled those who were not only looking for next generation technologies but also next generation integrations.
CeBIT also happens to be our favorite B2B marketing ground. And that is what we did this year too. Our top brass met up key influential people of the industry and explored possibilities of strategic alliances.
After CeBIT, now we move on to drupa 2012 to be held at Düsseldorf, Germany for OnPrintShop web to print storefront – again our flagship product.
We thank all our CeBIT visitors. We hope you had a pleasant experience with our team. Now that we have had the talk, we shall make a move and deliver on what we have committed.
Radixweb, an Ahmedabad-based IT services provider, has developed PersonalSMS – a mobile app for sending personalized SMS messages. The application will soon be released on the app store for public at large.
PersonalSMS is developed using PhoneGap framework. The mobile app allows users to send bulk SMS to all the contacts stored in their mobile device. A large number of mobile users sync their contacts with Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, etc and create different contact groups. PersonalSMS allows such users to send SMS to individual contacts as well as groups available on the mobile device. The app offers predefined SMS templates to the user which can be customized as per requirement.
PersonalSMS also has a token system that allows users to insert important data into the message text effortlessly. The users can define tokens for parameters like First Name or Address and just insert these tokens in their message body. The user can also save their messages in Drafts for later review. There is also the scheduling feature which users can use to schedule and reschedule the delivery of their messages.
“Another highlight of PersonalSMS is SMS History which stores all the past messages sent by the user. The users can retrieve their old messages from here and send them again”, states Pratik Mistry, Sr Business Head, Radixweb.
SMS or short message service has witnessed tremendous success over the past few years. “We all know that SMS is a vital means of business communication in today’s wireless world. So we decided to leverage this communication tool in our application”, informs Dharmesh Acharya, COO, Radixweb. And what kind of reception Radix is expecting for the application from the market? “We are expecting this application to be a big hit. We know that PersonalSMS has great potential. So we know that it will be well received once it is released. We have our fingers crossed”, signs off Mr Acharya.

Radixweb, an India-based technology development and consulting company, has released MatchMe, a memory game, for iPhone & Android users. The gaming app is available for downloaded at http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/matchme-memory-game/id498687306?mt=8.
MatchMe is a gaming app that tests a user’s visual memory. It requires users to memorize the location of different visuals in the image boxes and match them by opening the relevant box. The game has two fundamental complexity levels – Easy with 4x4 matrix and Hard with 6x6 matrix. The game maintains a score based on the number of taps a user takes and the amount of time he spends on finishing a matrix. The game’s scoreboard shall display the top ten players with minimum number of taps and time taken as competition benchmark.
“The good thing about this game is that it randomly loads images in the matrix. This keeps the user thinking and makes it more challenging for him every single time to complete a matrix”, informs Pratik Mistry, Sr Business Head, Radixweb.
MatchMe is a gaming app that targets both iPhone and Android users. Revealing the strategic decision behind this, Dharmesh Acharya, COO, Radixweb comments, “Before developing the game, we conducted a market research that showed that memory games were extremely popular with both iPhone and Android. We didn’t want to limit ourselves to only one audience base. So we developed MatchMe in such a way that it is compatible with iPhone and Android platforms.”
MatchMe is another addition to the list of mobile apps developed by Radixweb. The other apps developed and released by Radix include Kites – Soaring High, PersonalSMS, & Online Print Store. “We have also developed a mobile compliance tool, MinusStamp, and iPhone GPS for our customers”, states Mr Acharya.

OnPrintShop notches up a successful stint at recently concluded high vantage event, Graph Expo 2011, held at Chicago, USA.
From the first day itself of the event, OnPrintShop team met up with printers who were upbeat about web to print. We had a steady flow of visitors inquiring about customization possibilities with our web to print solution. The onsite demo was a big hit with printers discussing ground level issues with our team and wanting to know how the solution can address them. From curious walkers by to potential customers, the OnPrintShop stall recorded a high activity rate.
Our team of business consultants also had a busy event wherein they sat down for numerous project consultations. They held detailed discussions with many a printer and mapped their business processes to the solution. For the more enterprising ones, our consultants displayed several unique but executable business models. “We really got the adrenaline rushing through a few of them when we showed them how some of their counterparts were using web to print in different business models across other continents”, informed Pratik Mistry, Head Global Business Development, OnPrintShop-Radixweb. The excited printers also explored the possibilities of an on-demand-service and on-premise solution with our consultants.
In addition to customer interaction, Graph Expo also opened the doors for some B2B networking for OnPrintShop team. “We had quite a few of our industry peers walk into our stall and discuss web to print with us. We are certainly looking forward to striking some mutually beneficial strategic alliances with them”, revealed Dharmesh Acharya, COO, OnPrintShop-Radixweb. When questioned over what was OnPrintShop’s biggest gain from Graph Expo, Mr Acharya instantly replied, “The industry-wide thought leadership. Web to print is fairly new for a lot of markets where apprehension still rules. But at Graph Expo, leading web to print players came together and deliberated on important issues. It gave us an insight into what factors were shaping up the industry and what it might need in next few years.”
Now that the event has concluded, it’s time for OnprintShop team to finish what they started. It’s time to deliver on the promises made at the expo and improve using the learnings gained.

OnPrintShop, a web enabled prepress solution from India based Radixweb, has come up with several exciting solution upgrades over the past 6 months. But the most awaited one has been the corporate module which empowers even small sized printers to target high profile corporate segment. The print service providers can now host corporate client specific products and templates on their website while setting up special prices and offers for them. The client login ensures that only authorized users have access to these products. Every single order goes through an approval cycle with immediate superior authority before the printer gets informed about it. “What worries corporate clients the most is representation of their brand identities like logos and colors. In our corporate module templates, these things can be made non-editable. The users can only fill in their personal credentials. They cannot play around with things like logos”, informs Dharmesh Acharya, COO, Radixweb. The print service providers can also maintain separate corporate portfolios with order details and account balance in the backend.
In addition to this module, OnPrintShop has also upgraded to a new Flex based online designer studio. The new designer studio introduces layers in the designing process which increases the manageability of the design for the end users. They will also find the new tool panel quite exciting to use. But what really sells the point for Flex designer studio is its ability to break out of the regular stationary products and enter into merchandising products. “The end users can use the Flex designer studio to design and personalize products like coffee mugs, mouse pads, key holders, refrigerator magnets, and like. It allows printers to break the status quo of traditional print products and explore new product segments”, asserts Mr. Acharya.
When asked about availability of both the upgrades, Mr. Acharya maintained that they would be available immediately after GRAPH EXPO. “In fact, we are already pitching the Flex studio to our existing customers and migrating them. Once the migration of all existing clients is confirmed we shall pull the plug on old studio support”, revealed Mr. Acharya.

Celebrations knew no bounds when Radix completed 11 successful years in the IT outsourcing industry. The event was marked by fun, fireworks, flowers, and sweets accompanied by lots of smiles.
In an industry that is known for its ruthless competition, Radix’s success story seems almost like a fairytale. Given its industry standing today, it’s hard to believe that Radix had a very modest beginning with only a handful people. A decade ago when some industry veterans came together to explore the then nascent offshore development market, nobody had imagined that their endeavor, named Radixweb, would span across years. But Radix has not only survived different business cycles but has emerged as an institution in itself. “It has been quite a journey so far. When we started it was almost like a family unit working hard together to realize a dream. We had a vision that we wanted to make reality. And now after 11 years although we have grown in team size, we still work as a family unit”, says an ecstatic Dharmesh Acharya, COO, Radixweb.
Today, Radix presents an impressive portfolio of technology related services which includes PHP, DotNet, Ruby on Rails, Flex, and open source frameworks like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and more. They have further expanded into mobile application development with experts for iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, and Windows mobile. “We have often been referred to as pioneers of embedded solutions and device drivers. But today on our 11th anniversary we pledge to take our system programming services to another level”, informs Nitin Vaishnav, CTO, Radixweb.
While it would be interesting to see what the future holds for Radixweb, for now it’s time for proud Radixians to revel in their hard earned success.
OnPrintShop web to print storefront from Radixweb will make its debut appearance at Graph Expo 2011, Chicago, USA at Stall No 967. Slated to be held from September 11-14, 2011, Graph Expo is touted as the graphic communications industry’s top trade exhibition for the Americas. Book your appointment for live solution demo and free consultation at http://onprintshop.com/graphexpo and get free complimentary tickets.
OnPrintShop is a prepress process solution from India-based Radixweb. Breaking the status quo of the printing industry, OnPrintShop automates prepress processes. The web-enabled solution reduces the ordering lifecycle of a print business while adding 0% to the infrastructure cost. The solution has a Flash based online designer studio that allows the end users of print houses to design their own products online and personalize them.
OnPrintShop allows print houses to collect orders online, track print jobs, and deliver a print-ready PDF file – all through a web browser. Its advanced e-commerce suite supports multiple languages, currencies, payment gateways, and shipping options. The solution also offers a corporate module with secure storage for digital assets. But what makes OnPrintShop a real hit is the customization possibilities and availability in both dedicated and hosted (SaaS) versions.
After a successful run at PrintPack India 2011, IndiaSoft 2011, and CeBIT 2011, OnPrintShop will look to steal the show at Graph Expo also. “We are looking forward to Graph Expo. We consider this to be a great opportunity for us to touch-base with some elite printers from the Americas”, comments Mr. Dharmesh Acharya, COO, Radixweb. This being the fourth event for OnPrintShop in 2011 the solution appears to be on a high. “We would definitely look to repeat our success of PrintPack, IndiaSoft, and CeBIT at Graph Expo. In all previous events we had quite diverse audience segments. But we still earned a lot of fans. We are now eyeing the Americas and are confident that we shall be well received”, informs Mr Acharya.
But print service providers is not the only segment OnPrintShop is targeting at Graph Expo. “We are interested in forming some meaningful business coalitions at Graph Expo. So we will definitely focus on some B2B networking as well”, revealed Mr Acharya.

OnPrintShop received overwhelming response at the recently concluded PrintPack 2011 held at New Delhi, India.
Despite its debut appearance, OnPrintShop generated quite a buzz at PrintPack with its web to print capabilities. The solution’s stall saw a steady rush of printers who were fascinated by the solution’s automated prepress. Our onsite demo was highly appreciated by the visiting crowd which kept the activity rate high at the stall. Our team of business consultants fielded questions from the enthusiastic crowd and helped them trace the value of OnPrintShop’s web to print storefront in their business model.
Staying true to our promise, we also introduced our Denmark based clients to some Indian printers and helped them explore print outsourcing opportunities in India. Our European guests held across the table negotiations with their Indian counterparts as they assessed ways to leverage IT support for both buying and selling print products. Now post event, they are looking to take these initial negotiations forward and bring them to a mutually beneficial conclusion.
“Yes we did have a very exciting turnout at PrintPack. We are quite happy with the way Indian printers responded to this fairly new technology”, recalled Mr Dharmesh Acharya, COO, OnPrintShop-Radixweb. But was Indian printers their only target audience at PrintPack? “Not at all. We got to rub shoulders with some of our industry’s heavyweights. And now that the initial talks have commenced it’s just a matter of time before we shake hands with some reputed names”, responded an enthusiastic Acharya.
OnPrintShop could not have asked for a better stage than PrintPack to unveil web to print technology for Indian print industry. You can see some of our special PrintPack moments at http://www.onprintshop.com/printpack .
OnPrintShop, a web to print storefront launched by Radixweb, is all set to turn the printing industry eco-friendly. The solution is geared up to introduce ‘green printing’ to the world.
Environmental issues have hit our generation pretty hard. We are being plagued by a number of ecological concerns. Global warming and diminishing forest covers are just a few of them. Businesses worldwide have taken note of this and have undertaken various campaigns as part of their corporate social responsibility. Radixweb’s OnPrintShop is a valiant attempt towards making printing an environment friendly activity.
Printing industry witnesses a huge wastage of paper in the process of color setting. OnPrintShop, being a prepress process, delivers a print ready PDF file which reduces the wastage of paper and results in savings for the print house. “With OnPrintShop, all the document corrections and color adjustments are done in a web browser which then generates digital output. This practice alone can generate savings of about 3 times in paper”, affirms Ravindran VC, Head of Global Business Development, Radixweb. Since the final output is digital in nature it can be transmitted over the internet and helps you save paper in fax or post.
OnPrintShop also allows the customers to print only the quantity needed in stationary or marketing collateral, thus saving in unwanted printing. The ease of reordering grants customers the option of getting things reprinted if required. “With OnPrintShop you get the facility of reordering easily. So, you don’t need to have material preprinted in large quantities. You can always come back and reorder and save on paper”, informs Mr Ravindran.
